Using the LTS (Leverage Traction System) developed by Disk Dr.'s dedicated R&D department, it is designed so that the force generated while walking is transferred toward the thigh, using the calf as a lever.
When you walk wearing SP1600, traction is generated as the leg bends and straightens. This traction acts to open the space in the knee joint, reducing the body weight load on the knee while walking. It works with your normal walking motion alone, without a pump or power supply.
It combines flexible plastic that keeps its shape along the curve of the leg with aluminum for added strength. At approx. 356–400 g depending on size, it is light, comfortable to wear and easy to carry.
The hinge at the center of the knee connects the upper and lower frames, helping them move at the same angle and on the same track as the knee bends and straightens.
A silicone pad across the entire shin area keeps it from slipping down even during long wear, and it is easy to clean. The sponge pads inside the frame protect the leg from pressure and friction during use.

SP1600 is sized by measuring circumference at 3 points. First measure the circumference at the center of the knee, then measure the circumference 15 cm above (thigh) and 15 cm below (calf) the knee center, and compare them with the size chart below.

If your knee center circumference falls on a boundary (35.5 cm or 38.5 cm), choose by also checking the thigh and calf circumference.
When attaching or detaching the Velcro, take care not to catch body hair, clothing or stockings, and keep foreign objects out of the toothed area inside the hinge.
To wash, separate the sponge pads and straps from the frame, hand-wash gently in lukewarm water below 30°C with neutral detergent, and air-dry. Boiling or using a dryer may cause deformation. When reattaching, match the numbers on the frame and sponge pads, and store in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
